I know a few very religious people and what I take out of it is that they don't realize their place in their studies. They read a bad story/situation and they assume that they are the other guy. They see a good one and assume that because it's written in their religion, they represent the good guy because they go to church with other perfect people. Then there's the people who are so set on the written words that they try to force a prophesy to their own liking, and anything or anybody that doesn't fit the molds they have invisioned are obviously the devil himself. I've been close to each of these types of people and it's a bit ridiculous. close(-)

You guys have been obsessed with putting technology on the end of a stick for too long. Nuclear fuel is cleaner and cost effective. Technology cannot be hidden just because you like having the sticks and dealing in oil. Besides, free energy doesn't even have to be nuclear, which is completely safe. Why don't you focus your time on things that matter, like future generations that don't have to live in fear from some wackos that like things on sticks and scaring everybody to protect technology and power?

In WWI, the United States developed ways to remove shrapnel from soldier's eyes, and they shared it with the world. Now, the Military has gone long down a path of technology that can help the everyday citizen of the world. It is time to share with the people. Are you so far up oilman's backside that you would really turn your back on your own people? Or are you just petrified that you might not feel as important? Damnit, be proud of it and you can be part of it! close(-)

I never thought there would be so much controversy over a couple of books.

because what they are doing could be considered sacrilege to many of them.

That right there is a problem I have with a lot of fanatics. They tread along this imaginary line that they interpreted to be the true one, and anyone not on that line is a heretic or an antichrist. That's out there, but we see people judging others' all the time, because they see themselves as worthy to stand on that imaginary line.

We are slowly becoming a set of intellectual cliques, each sifting data solely for the purpose of reinforcing unquestioned assumptions; all the while screaming at the top of our lungs that we alone know the answers to the world problems.

no assumptions.

Join with me in commending Pastor Grizzard for his efforts in freeing the world of blasphemous tomes such as all the Harry Potter spew, vile Books of Mormon, heretical Catholic Apocryphas, and as much Pastafarian abominations as they can get their hands on !!

what about transformers and star wars? No book burning or producer burning needed IMO.
